When our management team first met, each one of us had a long history of success in one or more aspects of employee benefits, human resources, health and productivity programs, risk management, or accounting/financial audit. We worked together at a large manufacturing company to reduce costs, control risks, improve service, and manage vendors to better serve employees and their families. We could have just kept doing what we were doing. But we wanted more.
Each of us wanted to work in an environment where we could reach our maximum potential. To accomplish this goal we needed a culture that demanded continuous improvement and rewarded lifelong learning.
